A Bride, a Groom, and a Band

May and Jack’s Rockin’ February Wedding Ceremony and Reception

The best thing about Jack and May’s wedding day was that it was so very theirs. Isn’t that what a wedding is all about? The joining of two people, two families, spirited traditions, and some champagne. That’s what this February ceremony and reception truly was! These goofballs showed their down-to-earth nature from the minute we met them, and it continued on their big day with sweet photos (peep prom-photo poses & a little dance) in the dressing suite before they walked down the aisle to exchange “ I Do’s.” It was a party following the kiss that sealed the nuptials, starting with the balcony opening for a wintery sunset with a rental fireplace and heaters to keep guests warm. After toasts and a first dance, things took a turn to the best part of the evening where the bride and groom jumped on the mic – and accordion and bass – to get the crowd going. Family members jumped in, and the evening devolved into a true melding of loved ones through some karaoke tunes, red velvet cake, a cookie bar, a few beers, and a night these two will never forget. Scroll to see some of the magic from this day!
